The “Grove”, as the locals call it, is located in the heart of Miami, literally just minutes from Miami Beach, Downtown Miami, the Airport, Coral Gables, South Miami and the Design District.

Sailboat BayIn the 1800′s, the Grove was originally settled by Bahamian tradesmen looking for work and somewhere to live with their families.  Each year the Grove celebrates it’s heritage by hosting a Bahamian style celebration called “The Goombay Festival”.  In the 1960′s, it was known for it’s share of  “people of the arts” living the bohemian kind of lifestyle.  It was during this period that the infamous Coconut Grove Arts Festival was established.  Each year in February, thousands of visitors flock to the village to participate in “one of the nations premier fine arts festivals.”
